Apple interactive project

My first idea for a game that can be played on the iOS is a variant on the famous helicopter game where you dodge scenery as you fly through a level.

In my version the aim of the game is to stay on a platform for as long as you can while jumping to avoid obstacles. The further through the level you get the quicker and more common the obstacles arise. There is no limit to how high you can jump but you will take fall damage as a result of flying too high, you will receive no points for being in the air.
You can gain a higher scores by going along the trickier platforms which will be appropriately coloured.
The easiest platform will be on top with less obstacles than the harder platform below. If you make a mistake and fall off the easy platform there is a chance the harder platform below will be in the right place for you to land on. If you make a mistake on the harder platform and you fall past it, there is no way of carrying on the game, you will fall off the map and that will end the game.
One idea for contextualizing the game would be to set it in the overgrowth of a tree. A monkey or flying  squirrel could be the controllable character and your aim would be to escape some threat from behind by successfully completing the tree. There could be a campaign grouped into different difficulties by forest names. Setting the game in trees would mean i can easily introduce fire into the mechanics and have weaker platforms that disintegrate after a certain amount of time having been stood on.

Other game modes other than just surviving the map can be made, like time attack where you not only control when to jump but the speed at which your character runs. It could use the tilt technology to make the course fall in the direction you slanted the device.

My second idea was to have a course that was missing ramps and you had to draw them in using the touch interface. You'd simply draw a line from left to right, bottom to top of the ramp. There could be other tools for use in creating a completable level like boost pads and springs to increase jumping distance without increasing the height of the jump for fitting through low small gaps.

For the time being I have made sketches of various wacky cars, terrain, ramps and other things to be in levels.
